Liam’s desire to be a writer can be traced back to the moment that, aged five, his parents explained to him that Thunderbirds wasn’t a factual documentary, but was actually a made up story written by clever people from the 1960s. From that day on, he has claimed that watching countless TV shows and movies has been “research” to work out how to tell a good story, and not just an excuse to get out of the washing up. Liam now creates TV and film scripts full of lovable characters, witty dialogue and fast paced, entertaining stories. With a career as a stand-up comedienne, Veronica knew it was all starting to happen when she was asked to write and perform one of her sketches on the 11 O'Clock Show. A feature film, theatre and comedy writer, drawing on personal experiences, Veronica wrote Nine Nights, a contemporary tale about grief in the Afro-Caribbean community, for BBC1. She also showcased her one-woman show about Nina Simone at the Hackney Empire.

Cameron and Neil are the writing team behind Ko Lik films, with the former focusing on scripts and production, whilst Neil specializes in direction and animation. This is a brilliantly prolific partnership, although Cameron is still trying to convince Neil to produce that poem he wrote when he was 12. They are currently producing a series for the Disney Channel and actively developing a number of feature films, including an indie comedy. Before embarking on a writing career, Sally worked as a Producer and Script Editor in Drama.

Sally has written and co created the WillShake series, which aims to get primary school age kids loving Shakespeare. Each episode is fifteen minutes and is part live action, part animation. Her Henry V can currently be viewed on Digital Theatre Plus. Sally is also responsible for developing the Jamie Johnson series of books for TV and these have recently been commissioned by CBBC. A three part pilot made by ShortForm Film Co is currently filming in Nottingham for transmission in 2016.

Sally has a number of scripts in development as well as two novels for older children.

It all began when Stephen wrote a doctoral thesis about Victorian popular theatre. Since then he’s created two Classic Dr Who stories, a cabaret about the Kray. He’s penned the libretto for The Burglar’s, a musical comedy for Hornchurch called Pick Yourself Up and Claws, a screenplay transmitted on BBC 1 with an audience of over 6 million. He’s dramatised Fielding, Thackeray, Chandler and Highsmith for Radio 4 and engaged in a posthumous collaboration with Claude Debussy to create The Devil in the Belfry. He’s contributed to Casualty, House of Elliott and Crossroads. . Recently he's created an award-winning version of Dante's The Divine Comedy for Radio 4 and had a very successful run at Jermyn Street Theatre with his new comedy Told Look Younger, his first original theatre piece for some years. Even though Stephen has won the Tinniswood Award for best original radio drama twice, he is still unsure whether all this adds up to a proper career as a writer.

In 2000, inspired by his love of motor racing and his 15 month old son’s insistence on watching the Grand Prix with him, Dave created Roary The Racing Car. Gillian grew up on a farm in rural Oxfordshire where she learnt a lot about combine harvesters, irrigation systems and how to cross a muddy yard in heels. She lived in Italy for many years where she taught English, wrote novels and trained the Italian Fire Brigade.

Gillian writes for film and TV and has many years experience working on live action and animated scripts in the UK, US and Europe.

Her keen comic eye and gift for creating the unexpected make her a popular choice for writing teams and development work. She has an MA in Screenwriting from the London College of Communication.

After writing As You Like It, it could have been hard for Jeff to live up to his own genius but thankfully he realised he had the greatest gift of all; he didn’t have to do any real work to earn a living. This unique insight led him to write mainstream TV dramas, films and a novel. JULIA WESTON

The first script Julia ever wrote was for Channel 5’s Family Affairs and she has since gone on to write over 30 episodes. She’s also responsible for keeping the viewing figures up for Doctors and the much loved Holby. Witty, wry and varied, Julia’s style is full of insight and experience, drawing on all sorts of literary heroes, from Enid Blyton to Dickens and she tackles the blank page by spoiling the white with a line or two. Having given birth to two boys (in French), there’s not a lot that phases Julia and you’ll find her scribbling away at her Art Deco desk, looking out over the rooftops and garden.

A brand new look Bob series launches in 2015. Keith co-founded Chapman Entertainment, creating Fifi & the Flowertots and developing Roary the Racing Car. Chapman also produced Little Charley Bear and Raa Raa the Noisy Lion. His latest creation is Nick Jnr's global smash hit preschool show, Paw Patrol, fast becoming another billion dollar brand. Sarah-Louise was a key writer on The Bill when it won a Writers Guild Award and a BAFTA for Best Continuing Drama Series. She has worked continually in mainstream TV drama.

Her funny, arresting narratives are inspired by the likes of Sharon Olds, Paul Attananasio, Tom Behn and Noel Coward, dealing with the blank page by spoiling it with whatever comes into her head first.
